AFTER years of sold-out events, a hit festival is returning to the streets of Bolton next month.

The Gin Society’s ever-popular festival will be back bigger and better than ever at the beginning of August in the Albert Halls.

Gin fanatics will be able to get stuck into more than 120 flavours of gins, with organisers promising an “unforgettable gin experience”.

The two-day extravaganza will see both local and national distillers showcasing not only their weird and wonderful flavours, but the distillers will also be taking to the stage to share their skills.

The distillers will be showing off their expertise and knowledge in a series of master classes and tasting sessions.

Isabel Mourato, co-founder of The Gin Society, said: "We're very excited to return to Bolton for the third time. It's a beautiful setting at the Albert Halls and we have always been very well received and are hoping to see some repeat customers.

"Part of the experience we offer is the fact there is always something new and for everyone.

"The gin list has 120 but about 30 gins are new, so even repeat customers are catered for.

"Also we now have bespoke cocktails and a lovely range of premium rums at the cocktail bar. We want everyone to feel welcome and be able to enjoy the sociable atmosphere."

There will be three exclusive gin bars hosting the best of world, British and fruit gins, providing something for everyone to enjoy or try out for the first time.

New for this year’s festival, gin lovers will receive one free gin and tonic with their ticket.
