A TAXI and a car were involved in a crash in Farnworth.
Fire crews were called to the junction of Bradford Road, Plodder Lane and Marsh Lane at 8pm on Wednesday.
The incident happened just outside the Shri Ambika store.
No one was injured.
A spokesman for Bolton Central Community Fire Station said: "We were called to an RTC in Bradford Road.
"We sent two engines but everyone was out of their cars when we arrived.
"Two vehicles were involved - a taxi and a normal car.
"There were no injuries."
The crash comes just days after Harper Green ward councillors called on more measures to tackle speeding and dangerous driving in Bradford Road.
Cllr Sue Haworth also highlighted Harper Green Road and Lever Edge Lane as problem areas.
She said: “There are accidents on the roads and people are concerned for members of their family including their children.
"The overwhelming call from residents is for speed cameras and these are organised by the police.
“Speed cameras specifically target offenders which is why residents want them."
