BUDDING actors and actresses are being invited to apply for parts in this year's festive production of Treasure Island.
Octagon Theatre Bolton are looking to cast 24 young people between the ages of nine to 18 to play the roles of the pirates and ensemble. The classic tale of buccaneers and buried gold will be sailing into Bolton this Christmas in a rip-roaring new stage adaptation of Treasure Island.
The Octagon will bring their production to The Bolton University Stadium later this year. To apply to be in the young company, confidence in acting and singing is essential as there will be acting, singing and movement involved within the roles.
The production will run from December 5 to 28, 2019 and there will be two teams who will appear in the production on alternate days throughout the run and the roles will be unpaid.
