KEARSLEY Academy put on a graduation ceremony for their Year 8 students to give them a taste of what the future could have in store.
The Year 8 students wore caps and gowns, and were met with enthusiastic applause from by proud parents, carers and family members as they paraded in. Students were presented with scrolled certificates by the Acting Principal Kim McKee.
Rob Tarn, Chief Executive of Northern Education Trust, said: “The graduation ceremony recognises the achievements of every child, and create memories that will stay with them throughout their lives.”
