ROLLING road blocks are in place on the motorway after a horse got injured.
The blocks are in place on the M60 in both directions between junction 15 (Preston, Wigan, Bolton) and junction 16 (Salford, Kearsley).
Traffic has also been stopped on the slip road from the M61 Southbound to the M60 clockwise.
Highways England tweeted: "M60 both direction J15 to J16 and the slip from the M61 Southbound to the M60 clockwise, Traffic Officers have traffic stopped with rolling road blocks while they deal with an injured horse."
