A MAN has been charged over a bomb hoax at Manchester's Polish embassy.
Bogdan Benduski was arrested by police last week and subsequently charged with making a bomb hoax at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland.
Police were called to reports of an incident on Portland Street just after 10.30am on Thursday, August 8.
The 55-year-old will remain in custody to face magistrates in the coming days.
A spokesman for GMP said: "A man has been charged with making a bomb hoax at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Manchester.Bogdan Benduski, 55, of no fixed address has been remanded to appear before Manchester City Magistrates’ Court on a date yet to be confirmed."
