AN engineering specialist has unveiled ambitious plans to double turnover over the next five years.
Mechanical and electrical contractors Genlec, based in Leigh, broke the £15million mark last year.
And with project work secured at the likes of the Motel One development in Manchester, the Chapel Street firm has its sights set on future growth.
Managing director Jonathan Twentyman said: " We’re now at a point where we are ready to take the business to the next level, expanding our presence across the region in the delivery of large scale, and often complex mechanical and electrical projects, with the aim of effectively doubling turnover."
Their 50-strong workforce is also on-site at Sellafield as well as Loom Wharf in Leigh.
