UTC Bolton and students celebrated fantastic results yesterday.

Vice-Principal Nicola Glynn said: “We are delighted with the progress and achievement of all of our students today. Every student has worked incredibly hard and this is evident in their success.

"We look forward to welcoming our returning students to continue their journey at UTC Bolton throughout Key Stage 5 to progress with their Health Science and Engineering education.

Student Cameron Naldrett said: "I’m really pleased with my results; I’m excited to continue my journey at UTC Bolton to complete A Levels in Science and Maths. The support I have received here over the past two years has been amazing."

Results in the science subjects were perfect with 100 per cent 9-4 in biology, chemistry and physics

UTC Bolton specialises in health sciences and engineering and opened in September 2015. It is supported by the University of Bolton.

There is an urgent need for technical skills in engineering and health in the local area. UTC Bolton was established to help address this need and to provide the combined academic, technical and practical education.
