Striker Chris O’Grady has joined Bolton after leaving Latics.

The 33-year-old scored six times in 23 league appearances after returning to Boundary Park last season but has been out of the picture under new boss Laurent Banide at the start of the new campaign.

O’Grady has signed a deal until the end of the season with Wanderers and is reunited with his former Rochdale boss Keith Hill as one of nine deadline day signings at the University of Bolton Stadium.

The frontman’s second Oldham spell began 10 years on from his first, the former Rotherham and Barnsley man having been with Latics between 2008 and 2010, making 13 appearances for the club.

Last season, he scored a perfect hat-trick in the 4-2 win over Bury in December at Boundary Park.
