AN autumn musical extravaganza has been organised by Create Bolton - the charity which promotes the arts through Christianity.

The event takes place at The Hawthorns on A6 at Blackrod on Friday, September 20.

Topping the bill will be The Nick Jackson Band, who will be playing an eclectic mix of music from their four studio albums as well as covers by artists such as Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Velvet Underground, The Killers, The Courteeners, The Kinks and more.

Support artists include Caspermason and Poppy Davidson Music.

Tickets cost £22.50 to including a hot buffet and are available by emailing or from the Create Bolton Cafe in Bolton or by calling Ann Lowton on 07964 814297.

Ann said: "Create Bolton uses the 'arts' in its widest sense to reach people. We do not preach (unless you ask us to) but we do put our faith into action, expressing our heart for God in the everyday and the everyone."
