A PAIR of friends are celebrating after the pub they founded was named in a prestigious list for the first time.
The Nook & Cranny, in Bromley Cross, is making its debut in this year's Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide.
James Martin and Craig Egan opened the venue in March 2018 and then expanded in April this year.
Unlike other pubs in the Bolton borough they have been labelled in the guide as being in Bromley Cross.
"It's the only one that's under Bromley Cross so we've put Bromley Cross on the beer map," Mr Egan said. "We're ecstatic really. We're very lucky to have the following that we have, The community is great and our reputation is getting out there. So many pubs here are getting refurbished. It's the place to be at the moment."
He added: "Thanks to CAMRA and all of our customers for helping us get into the guide."
