The East Lancashire Railway is on the lookout for the biggest Thomas the Tank Engine fan to land themselves a very special prize.
Ahead of the upcoming Day Out with Thomas event, the heritage attraction is hosting a super competition where lucky youngsters could scoop their chance to be the “junior station master” and play an important role, including making a station announcement with The Fat Controller, selling tickets like a real train master and sounding Thomas’s whistle.
The winners will also be able to guard the train, and have access to all activities and unlimited train travel.
Send a photo of your young Thomas fan to the ELR Facebook page, @eastlancsrailway, by September 30, and explain why they should be awarded the prize
The winning entry will be presented with a junior station master certificate and a special ELR and Thomas & Friends goody bag when Day Out with Thomas returns on October 5 and 6.
