A POPULAR project to collect Chocolate Oranges for NHS staff is returning after a successful campaign.
Last year, accountant Debbie Croston from Bolton, handed over more than 900 of the sweet spherical treats to nurses at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Her efforts were inspired by a similar scheme in Merseyside run by Chris Lamb who started giving Chocolate Oranges to hospital staff in St Helen’s after they cared for his son there in 2010.
Currently chocolatey donations can be made to drop off points at Westhoughton Library, The Hub Westhoughton, John Holt Community Centre and Hays Travel, in Market Street, Westhoughton.
Alternatively, visit Ms Croston's place of work at PB Syddall & Co, in Chorley Old Road.
