A CAMPAIGN to support the father of two young children who is in hospital after a horror car crash is gathering momentum.
André Rebelo - believed to be in his 30s - was left in a critical condition after a collision on New Lane, Breightmet, on Sunday (September 15) left his vehicle upside down.
He has suffered serious head injuries with swelling on the brain and is on a life support machine that is currently breathing for him.
Family friend Wendy-Anne Hartley set up a fundraiser for Mr Rebelo on campaign site GoFundMe, which has already reached nearly £1,000.
Money raised through the page will go to the care of his two young children Valentina, 4, and Catarina who is just 9 months old.
Ms Hartley also plans to set up a drop-off point for items such as food, nappies, milk and clothes, with further details of this to be made available.
