MAGISTRATES have ordered a man to be electronically tagged after he admitted assaulting a police officer on September 18.
Liam Kelly, aged 40, of Ramsay Avenue, Farnworth, appeared at Bolton Magistrates' Court and was made subject to a curfew for six weeks.
Kelly must remain indoors at home from 7pm to 5am each day.
He was also ordered to pay the officer £150 in compensation and was also told he must pay £85 towards prosecution costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
