PLANS to add an additional six homes to a proposed housing development at a historic mill have been approved.
The former Beehive Mills building is set to be demolished and replace with 127 homes now that the latest proposals have been given the green light.
The extra six houses will be a mix of two and three-bedroom houses, all two storeys in height, according to the application.
Permission had already been granted for a development of 36 two-bedroom, 78 three-bedroom and seven four-bedroom dwellings before the additional six houses were proposed.
There will also be a public open space on the site and developer Countryside Properties has agreed to contribute £163,000 towards primary and secondary education in Bolton.
