PLANS to expand a school to accommodate 150 more pupils have been revealed.

Bolton Muslim Girls' School would be able to facilitate an increase of 30 more children a year over five years if the plans are approved.

The expansion consists predominantly of a refurbishment of the existing mill building, according to a planning application.

It said: "The Trust at Bolton Muslim Girls School proposes to increase its published admission number from 120 to 150 and expand the school premises by the addition of teaching and non-teaching accommodation."

Town hall planners will decide whether to allow the Swan Lane school to expand.
