A LEGAL firm's partner is among a team nominated for a leading family law prize.
Charlotte Beck, from Bolton, and Ward Hadaway colleagues have been nominated for the dispute resolution team of the year honour at the Family Law Awards.
The team, which also includes Jodi Tuson, from Wigan, and Manchester's Martin Karran, support a wide range of cause outside their work.
Charlotte, who began her career in Bolton before becoming a matrimonial partner at the firm, sits on the fundraising committee of Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
And the Manchester practice is also a keen backer of Rugby League Cares, the welfare organisation backed by the likes of Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves.
Charlotte said: "We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award in recognition of the work we undertake with families.
"No two family situations are the same and disputes must be handled sensitively, especially where children are involved."
Her team will find out if they have been successful at a London awards ceremony on November 27.
