FIREFIGHTERS have tracked down the mystery woman who paid for a crew member’s shopping when he was forced to rush to the scene of a blaze.
Last week, The Bolton News reported on how Neil Hill was in the Lidl store next to Farnworth Fire Station when he received a call about a fire.
He left his shopping trolley at the checkout, promising to pay for it on his return.
Upon returning to the supermarket, he discovered his shopping had been paid for by a good Samaritan.
The mystery woman who paid was 27-year-old mum Becky Sharp.
To thank her for the good deed, the firefighters arranged to visit her at home and surprise her with with a bouquet of flowers.
