A CAMPAIGN to put a book about the Bolton dialect in every primary school ends tonight.
Lost Words aims to prevent local words from fading out of use by Bolton kids.
Authors had almost reached their £1,500 fundraising goal when a website glitch reset the total.
The team had to start over with less than a week until the deadline, raising almost £1,200 by 24 supporters since.
Tony Cottam, organiser of the fundraiser, said: “Lost words started as a book but has since grown into a movement.
“A massive thank you to all who have re-pledged.”
The group need to raise just over £300 before 7pm tonight.
Search Lost Words Bolton on Facebook for more details, or visit their crowdfunding site to donate.
