FORTY lucky youngsters have landed themselves tickets for the hottest sporting show in town thanks to a generous giveaway.

The children from Bolton Lads and Girls Club were each given a pass for the biggest night in the Rugby League calendar — the Super League Grand Final — courtesy of law firm Ward Hadaway.

They will take up their prime seats on Saturday to watch League Leader’s Shield champions St Helen’s face off against the Salford Red Devils in what is sure to be a memorable clash at Old Trafford.

Kelly McFadden, from Bolton Lads and Girls Club, said: “We were bowled over when Ward Hadaway offered the tickets for the young people to enjoy.

“It’s an absolute dream for some of them to be able to watch their heroes in action, I’m sure they’ll all have an amazing evening.”

As well as taking in the high octane rugby action the winners will also enjoy plenty of pre-match entertainment, including a performance from Shed Seven.

The opportunity has come thanks to Ward Hadaway’s partnership with the Super League which also sees them sponsor the Spirit of Super League Award recognising player’s off-pitch altruism.

Charlotte Beck, a partner in the family team at Ward Hadaway, from Bolton, said: “We saw an opportunity to extend our partnership out into the community by offering 40 children the chance to enjoy this fantastic evening of sporting entertainment, a real highlight in the rugby league calendar.

“It’s a pleasure to be able to supply the tickets and I hope all the young people have a night they’ll never forget.”
