A SOLICITOR from Leigh - singled out as one of the UK's best by a legal bible - has joined a Greater Manchester firm.
John Colvin, who specialises in commercial and banking litigation, was lauded by the Legal UK 500 report for 2019.
He is now on the staff at the Bury office of WHN, as part of their seven-strong dispute resolution team.
The 48-year-old was former partner with Berg Legal, which later merged with Kennedys.
Mr Colvin said: "I am tremendously excited to be joining the WHN team in a role that will enable me to use my knowledge and experience in legal practice as well as helping to drive the ongoing expansion of the business."
Michael Shroot, WHN's chief executive, added: "We are thrilled to welcome John on board as he is a seasoned and gifted lawyer with a skillset that will be a great asset in growing our business in niche areas, as well as more broadly."
