PLANS for a home extension have been rubber-stamped by councillors after concerns by a neighbour about privacy and overdevelopment.
The side and rear extension at the Heaton house in Somerdale Avenue has been allowed to go ahead after the planning committee voted to approve the plans.
Heaton and Lostock councillor Bob Allen asked for the application to be brought to the committee on the request of a resident.
Concerns were raised about the impact on privacy, the space between properties and lack of space for scaffolding.
Cllr Allen said he was satisfied that the issues had been addressed.
