BOLTON Market is set for a magical December as mystical unicorns fly into the area.
While not strictly unicorns, visitors will be able to meet the beautiful rescue ponies, who have received a minimal makeover to add that magic touch.
The event between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, December 7, will feature around three 'unicorns', where children can see them and meet them up close.
A spokesman for Bolton Market said: "We always try to do something fun for each weekend of December.
"The ponies will be dressed up lightly and the event will also include unicorn themed cooking and face painting."
The company behind the event is Raspberry Fields Pony Parties and their ponies are from the Blue Cross animal charity.
