MORE than 200 fifth year pupils at Smithills School were presented with their Records of Achievement. The new records contained a complete profile of the pupils who were actively involved in the compilation during their social education lessons in 1990. In the transition from school to work, the records provided a vital tool to aid the selection procedure, thus strengthening the school's partnership with industry and commerce. Looking shows today some of the pupils who received their records with representatives from Barclays Bank, the Pack Horse Hotel and the CLEEA, joined by the head teach, staff and governors.
