A TWO-year-old girl fell out of a car on a roundabout in Accrington.
She is in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident where the child fell from the BMW X5 on the Winfield roundabout in Accrington at 12.40am on Sunday.
The girl is believed to have been a passenger in the car and may have been hit by another unknown vehicle.
The girl who is from Nelson suffered a head injury and is in a serious but stable condition at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Sgt Dave Hurst of Lancashire Police said: “We believe there may have been a white vehicle, possibly a Kia, in the area at the time and we are keen to speak to them.
“If you have any information about the incident, please call us on 101 quoting incident reference 0058 of November 10th.”
