A WOMAN has been injured after a car landed on its roof in an early-morning crash.
The 30-year-old, from Radcliffe, was a passenger in a Mercedes G63 which was travelling along Newchurch Road, Bacup, in the direction of Waterfoot when the smash happened at around 2.30am on Sunday.
Police said the car had failed to travel around a slight bend and careered off the road, before falling down a verge and landed on its roof.
The driver of the car, a 39-year-old man from Bacup, suffered serious injuries.
The pair both remain in Royal Preston Hospital.
Officers are now appealing for potential witnesses to come forward.
Sgt Dave Hurst said: “If you were in the area at the time and saw anything, or you have any dash cam footage, please make contact with us.”
Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident reference 181 of November 10.
