A WOMAN has been ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work after she admitted using threatening behaviour towards three people on October 18. At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Rebecca Smith, aged 46, of Downham Gardens, Prestwich was also ordered to participate in 25 days of rehabilitation activities and must pay her victims a total of £300 in compensation. A restraining order was made banning her from contacting her victims or going to Six Town Housing in Knowsley Street, Bury.

A PORSCHE driver has been banned from the roads for 17 months after he was caught drink driving. Manchester magistrates heard how Dominic Bacci, aged 41, of Sergeants Lane, Whitefield, had drunk almost double the legal alcohol limit when he drove a Porsche Cayenne on Blackburn Street, Radcliffe, on October 4. He pleaded guilty to committing the offence as well as possessing cocaine and driving without insurance and was fined £760 and ordered to pay £150 in costs and charges.

A DRUG driver has been banned from holding a driving licence for 12 months. At Manchester Magistrates' Court Ameer Hamza, aged 38, of Parkhills Road, Bury, pleaded guilty to driving a Honda Civic on Wellington Road, Bury, on May 4 after using cannabis. He was fined £193 and was also ordered to pay £115 in costs and charges.

A MAN who was drunk and disorderly in the car park at Bury police station on November 2 has been fined £60 by Manchester magistrates. Shane Conway, aged 46, of Parkfield Avenue, Farnworth, pleaded guilty to committing the offence as well as damaging a car seat. He was ordered to pay the car owner £60 in compensation and was also told he must pay £117 in costs and charges.

MAGISTRATES have fined a man £100 after he admitted being drunk and disorderly in Church Street West, Radcliffe, on October 12. James Rollason, aged 27, of Bradshaw Avenue, Whitefield, was also ordered to pay £117 towards prosecution costs and charges.

A WOMAN who assaulted two police officers and damaged a police camera has been sentenced to do 100 hours unpaid work by Manchester magistrates. Robyn Gray, aged 25, of St Andrews Road, Radcliffe, pleaded guilty to committing the offences and was ordered to pay a total of £250 in compensation plus £150 towards prosecution costs.

A SHOPLIFTER who targeted Radcliffe stores has been jailed for eight weeks. Manchester magistrates heard how Leon Astley, aged 28, of no fixed address, stole bottles of alcohol from Asda and tanning products from Boots on several occasions in June this year. He admitted committing the offences as well as assaulting a man and using threatening behaviour. Astley was also ordered to pay a total of £400 in compensation.

A DRUG driver has been sentenced to do 80 hours of unpaid work. Muhammad Anwar, aged 25, of Regent Street, Bury, was driving a Mazda 3 on Bentley Lane, Bury on February 5 after taking cannabis.Anwar pleaded guilty to committing the offence and also possessing cannabis and failing to stop for police. He was banned from driving for 16 months, must participate in 12 days of rehabilitation activities and pay £235 in costs and charges.

MAGISTRATES have fined a man £50 and banned him from driving for 12 months. Liam Phelan, aged 22, of Scholes Walk, Prestwich, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Fiesta on Ringley Road, Radcliffe after using cannabis on April 13. He was also ordered to pay £115 in costs and charges.
