A SHOP which recently changed hands has been granted a premises licence by the council after problems were found with the application.
Booth Road Stores in Little Lever got the licence at the town hall last week.
The application was submitted by Jimshaid Arshad in August but the notice published in The Bolton News was incorrect, so the application was restarted.
Mr Arshad , who holds a premises licence issued by Wigan Council, then failed to publish the notice a second time, so the application was again restarted.
The licensing sub-committee voted to approve the application on Thursday.
Former council leader Cliff Morris chaired the meeting.
