KINDHEARTED staff at Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce have enabled a summer of fun to result in a boost for Bury Hospice.
Chamber staff arranged a series of games and competitions to support the crucial work of the borough care organisation.
One was a 'Greater Chamber Bake Off' and the workers also arranged a weekly Premier League Draw, which saw Lucy Mulligan top the table for wins.
Their combined efforts collected £307 for the hospice, which was handed over to representative Michelle King recently.
She said the money raised amounts to the equivalent of 12 bereavement sessions, a huge help for the hospice. The Chamber is continuing to support the hospice over the next 10 months as it is their chosen charity partner for Bury.
