CHRISTMAS is just around the corner and everyone is starting to get into the festive spirit.

Why not stir up the excitement with a magical trip to meet Father Christmas and start the season with smiles, fun and laughter.

Join Santa as you eat your breakfast

Christmas is the most magical time of the year and a big part of that it is meeting Santa.

Which is why he’s taking a short break from preparing presents in the North Pole and coming to Toby Carvery on Crompton Way, Bolton.

Grab your little ones and join in for a festive breakfast celebrating Christmas with the big man himself. Breakfast will be served from 9:30am on December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23 and 24.

The price for a cooked breakfast and a drink is £5.99.

Santa and his loyal reindeer at The Crofters

Meet Santa and his loyal reindeer at The Crofters in Bradshaw at a special Santa’s grotto.

Santa will be at the pub on December 21-24 from 11am-4pm. Entry price will be £12 per child plus £1 per accompanying adult. Children will get a gift from Santa, plus a free meal from the children’s menu if an adult buys a meal for themselves. For bookings call 01204 594386.

Santa makes a stop at the Winter Festival

Sants is stopping in Bolton and he needs to park his North Pole Express Train somewhere secret.

The word is out though, and now we know that the hidden location will be the former BHS shop.

So, join Santa at his grotto from 10am to 6pm Thursday to Sunday. Each child will receive a gift of a festive book to take home. Visits cost £4 per child.

A Santa Spectacular at Victoria Hall

There has been a major mix up in the North Pole!

Will Jingleberry and Ellie the elves be able to help Santa fix it in time for the Christmas ball?

Victoria Hall in Bolton will answer this question by hosting The Santa Spectacular – a theatrical play filled with Christmas magic, Christmas songs and Christmas joy for the whole family.

The show will take place multiple times on December 22 and 23. Call 01204 522 569 for information.

St Paul’s hosting a grotto

This Christmas Santa is setting up his Grotto at St Paul’s Community and Parish Centre on Halliwell Road.

He will be arriving on November 23 and will be at the centre from 10:30am to 2pm.

Entry is completely free with crafts, games and stalls ready to amuse both young and old.
