Leigh Road at the junction with Park Road
Three fire crews were called to a crash in Westhoughton this morning.
Crews from Leigh, Atherton, and Bolton Central were called to the incident on Leigh Road at 10.30am.
A car had crashed into a parked car on the road close to Cricketers Way.
Crews were on scene for 40 minutes, removing the roof of the car to extract the driver - a gentleman in his 70s.
The driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.
