A FREE employment law event is being staged by a legal practice with offices in Bolton and Bury.
Clough & Willis is aiming to help businesses tackle thorny issues around implementing a redundancy programme.
Chris Macwilliam, the firm's employment head, will take attendees through the redundancy process, focusing on what employers and HR professionals should consider when identifying a potential pool of people, as well as the detail on the consultation and dismissal processes.
He said: "Redundancy is often the last resort but it’s essential that businesses know the facts about what they can and can’t do. The aim of this event is to inform and educate so delegates have a practical understanding of the law."
The event, at their Bury office, is on Wednesday, December 4, from 8.30am and places can be booked by e-mailing clare.trippier@clough-willis.co.uk
