A MAN has been told he must undertake 200 hours of unpaid work after he was convicted of assaulting a woman in Bolton.
Christopher Nyere, aged 41, of Kirkham Street, Bolton, had denied committing the offence on August 3 but was found guilty following a trial at Bolton Magistrates’ Court.
In addition to the unpaid work, as part of his community sentence, Nyere was ordered to participate in 15 days of rehabilitation activities, pay £440 in costs and charges and pay his victim £250 in compensation.
