COMMUTERS are being warned to expect disruption on their journeys after damaged to power lines.
Officials at Manchester Piccadilly posted on Twitter about the issues with overhead lines affecting Platform 14 and that services would be 'delayed or cancelled' at short notice.
They were urging passengers to speak with staff for up to date information.
They later tweeted:
Because of damage to power lines in central Manchester, there are no direct trains from Piccadilly to Liverpool, Blackpool or Bolton. Passengers need to travel to Victoria for onward trains. Please check with @nationalrailenq @northernassist @EastMidRailway @TPEassist for info.
