THE physiotherapist who looked after Strictly Come Dancing winning duo Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse has been given the go ahead to open a new practice in Farnworth.

Tinashe Dangarembizi, better known as Nash, who regularly treats the Strictly stars, plans to move to the new spot in Bolton Road in the new year.

Aside from treating Kelvin and Oti, he has also looked after TV presenter Karim Zeroual during the BBC's 2019 Strictly series as well as actress Gemma Atkinson and chef Simon Rimmer.

The physiotherapist based in Swinton has also treated Manchester’s former WBA lightweight boxing champion Anthony Crolla.

Now, he hopes his celebrity clientele will come to Farnworth where he thinks there is a gap in the market.

But Nash, who is qualified in physiotherapy, sports therapy and acupuncture, is not just offering services to the stars.

He said: “It’s not just the Strictly lot, it’s the elderly too. Some of those patients that have musculoskeletal problems. It’s a good catchment area to deliver physio."

Having previously worked in Bury and Failsworth, he has been renting a practice in Manchester – but now he has purchased his own the property in Farnworth.

A planning application to change the use of the former Marie’s Hair and Beauty Salon in Bolton Road was approved last week.
