A GROWING food service equipment firm is on course for further expansion are securing a new home.

Within four years of rapid improvements NWCE, which deals in everything from catering to bakery and refrigeration equipment, alongside ventilation and fabrication, had outgrown its Bury home.

Now the firm has relocated to a fresh location in Folds Road, Bolton, offering a 10,000 square foot control centre, as well as capacity for parts storage and distribution.

This will help to support the comprehensive van stock held by engineers on the road.

The move also means NWCE, which only started out in 2015, can now boast on-site fabrication facilities, a new and used equipment warehouse, spacious workshops, a showroom and a commercial test kitchen.

A large car park and service yard will also assist with the maintenance of their fleet.

Ben Odling, managing director, said: "As part of our ongoing business strategy, future growth could only be supported by investing in purpose-built and furnished premises.

"Our new premises could not be a better fit for what we want to achieve as a business in the coming years.

"This past year has seen huge and sustained growth for NWCE and the new premises is one of the physical examples of this."

In support of their new home, the company's directors have also drawn up a three-year strategy to give new and existing customers improved customer service.

A NWCE spokesman added: "The move has made it possible for us to increase the national service control centre team, to include call handlers, engineer controllers and service supervisory staff. All of whom are supported by the experienced spare parts department.

"Our sales team, led by Justin Bailey, have also just recruited new support staff to enable the continuation of supplying exemplary customer service."
