A MAN has been ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman in Bolton on May 26.

At Bolton Magistrates’ Court David Moulton, aged 32, of Centurian Rise, Penrith pleaded guilty to causing the woman actual bodily harm after initially denying the offence.

In addition to the unpaid work Moulton was ordered to participate in 25 days of rehabilitation activities and a building better relationships programme.

He must also pay £535 in costs and charges and pay £200 in compensation to his victim.

A restraining order was made banning him from contacting her or going to Tonge Moor Road, Bolton.
