A MAN was arrested after he was spotted in a vehicle which somebody had previously been seen dealing drugs from.
Officers arrested the 28-year-old man on Scotland Road in Nelson after gathering information that drugs were being supplied from the vehicle he was in.
Both the driver and passenger were detained for a drug search in which a number of items, including cannabis, cash and mobile phones were found.
The passenger of the car was then arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
A police spokesman said: "We will continue to target people involved in the supply of drugs in order to keep our community safe."
The man has now been released under investigation.
