A DRINK driver has been fined £180 by Manchester magistrates and banned from the roads for 16 months.
Timothy Davies, aged 25, of Tonge Old Road, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence by driving a Vauxhall Astra on Hall Street, Walshaw on December 7. He had drunk more than the legal alcohol limit and admitted possessing cocaine.
He was also ordered to pay £117 in costs and charges.
The driving ban will be reduced by 122 days if he completes an approved course.
