Oldham have signed Burnley midfielder Christian N'Guessan on loan until the end of the season.
The 21 year-old signed professional forms with the Clarets back in 2017 after being at Blackpool as a youth player.
He has become an important part of Burnley's Under-23s and will be looking to get Football League experience for the first time having trained with Latics in recent weeks.
"Christian is highly-rated and a complete centre midfielder,” said Latics boss Dino Maamria, a former Burnley player himself.
"He's hardworking with a great attitude, has fantastic technical abilities and is a great addition to the team.
"I've been monitoring his progress for a while. He's been training with us for a couple of weeks now and has settled in really well."
N’Guessan’s arrival at Boundary Park is the latest link with the Clarets - Chris Eagles, Chris McCann and David Jones, who was back training with Burnley earlier this season, all former Turf Moor favourites.
