Westhoughton Rotary Club is celebrating raising more than £6,000 through its Santa sleigh tour.
The money will go towards supporting local organisations and will allow the group to hold a special presentation evening where money will be distributed to local charities and support groups.
Westhoughton Rotary president Barrie Livesey said: “Thanks to the generosity of so many, we were able to collect nearly £1000 more than last year.”
The Santa tour is a long-standing tradition for the club and relies on support from the town’s residents and local businesses.
KIA provided a car to tow the sleigh, and Sainsbury’s and Krones also supported the club’s fundraising efforts.
