POLICE in Bolton discovered an outstanding stolen vehicle which had been using false number plates for a month.
Greater Manchester Police's (GMP) Safer Roads Targeting Team (SRTT) patrols recovered the vehicle in the centre of Bolton earlier today.
Police added that it was now being scoured for evidence by a Crime Scene Investigation team to find out who had stolen it.
The vehicle is also set to be returned to its rightful owner.
The tweet by GMP Traffic read: "Stolen vehicle found this morning by #GMPSRTT patrols in the @GMPBoltonCentre. Been outstanding for around a month and found on false plates. Vehicle recovered for CSI exam and return to it's rightful owner."
