THINGS in the town centre are returning to normal after a magical Christmas transformation.
Victoria Square played host to the town’s annual Winter Wonderland this year, complete with a huge ice rink and a festive teepee.
This year’s event proved the biggest every as tens of thousands of people descended on Bolton to enjoy the attractions.
But the celebrations have come to an end and staff have spent this week removing many of the new features.
The Winter Festival was opened in early December by soap star Ray Quinn, who was in town performing in 2019’s pantomime.
Since then, thousands have visited the stalls and attractions, which stretched into the former BHS building in Crompton Place.
