A DRINK driver was arrested early this morning after driving on a hugely deflated tyre.
Police pulled over the driver in Highfield Road in Little Hulton and found a severely deflated tyre at the front of the car.
The driver then failed a roadside breath test, registering a reading of 83.
The driver was also found to not be holding any insurance.
The car was then seized and the driver arrested.
A tweet from GMP Traffic read: "The driver of this Chevolet Matiz wondered why #ME58 had stopped him on Highfield Road Little Hulton.
"Might have something to do with the deflated tyre.. plus the rest of his driving !
"Failed roadside breath test with a reading of 83. No insurance held. Car seized driver arrested."
