A MAN has been charged after allegedly being found underneath a van in Breightmet.
Patrick Ward, 32, of Robin Hey, Leyland, has been charged with going equipped to steal and vehicle interference.
Ward was allegedly spotted underneath a van on Chronnell Drive on Tuesday.
He was found in a nearby garden, where he was allegedly found to be in possession of a screwdriver and mole grip.
He was subsequently arrested and taken into police custody.
He was due to appear at Magistrates Court today.
