Beeston Castle.
POLICE are appealing for information after the recovery of artefacts believed to have been taken from the grounds of Beeston Castle by metal detectorists.
In December, Cheshire Police's Rural Crime Team arrested two men in connection with an investigation into heritage crimes committed at Beeston Castle that saw the recovery of a number of artefacts believed to have been taken by metal detectorists.
Frodsham PCSO Jon Hurst, of Chester Local Policing Unit, asked anyone with information to contact Cheshire Police on 101.
