LABOUR leadership favorite Keir Starmer will visit Oxford's new homeless hub this evening.
The MP, who has represented Holborn and St Pancras since 2015, was the fifth person to enter the race in a bid to become the next Labour leader after the party's crushing defeat in the December election.
This evening, alongside Anneliese Dodds - the MP for Oxford East - Mr Starmer will visit Floyds Row.
Floyds Row, a former Jobcentre off St Aldate's, has been fully adapted by Oxford City Council to accommodate the homeless, and 20 clients are expected to move in tomorrow.
The new shelter has around £1.19m pumped into it and is the centerpiece of the council's commitment to transform services for people at risk of and experiencing homelessness in the county.
