OLDHAM Athletic have snapped up prolific AFC Fylde striker Danny Rowe.

The Coasters’ record goalscorer, one of the top talents in non-league in recent seasons, joins for an undisclosed fee and has signed an 18-month deal to become Latics’ fifth new arrival of the January transfer window.

Rowe, 30, scored 192 goals in 293 games for Fylde but having entered the final six months of his contract was placed on the transfer list by the club who are currently 21st in the National League table.

The former Manchester United youngster has also played for Fleetwood, Stockport, Barrow and Lincoln.

Rowe could make his debut when Oldham host Carlisle on Saturday.
