A SECONDARY school has been given the go ahead for a new storage building.
St James CE Secondary School has been granted planning permission to build the modular unit.
Town hall officers told the planning committee that the unit would be "partly screened" from neighbouring properties.
Cllr Sean Hornby, a former pupil at the school, was the first to approve the application. He said: "It’s my former school – and an excellent school it was. The school has just gone from strength to strength. I’m happy to move this.”
